How it all started

Our story

After living for several years in New Zealand, your hosts, Mélanie and Rémy, opted for a change of life and decided to go back to what’s essential: a gentler rhythm, a strong connection to nature, and of course, the pleasure of sharing their little piece of heaven. They fell in love with this old Breton house, which they brought back to life through a complete, respectful renovation. The objective was to create a warm and comfortable living space, and a starting point to explore and discover the charms of Brittany, and the many activities to be found in the area. Their attention was naturally drawn to this old 18th century house, adorned with a magnificent, sculpted pediment, a true testament to its rich past. Guided by Rémy’s architect father, the renovation work began quickly after the purchase of the house. The main goal was to make the house cozy and well decorated. Each room has been carefully designed, down to the smallest detail, to create a warm and authentic atmosphere. From the exposed stone to the antique décor and the homemade breakfasts, everything reflects their desire to welcome guests. Today, your hosts are very proud to finally be able to share this home in their image, with family furniture full of history and stories alike.
